Damesek Eliezer was founded fiveteen years ago in Jerusalem by Rabbi Eliezer Dahan, who decided to concentrate his energies on making a unique contribution to the world through developing Torah, Tefilla and Chesed, the three pillars which hold up the world.
 

After gaining invaluable experience in the field of chesed through his work in both soup kitchens and managing one of the largest kimcha dePescha operations in Israel, Rabbi Dahan had the tools and the heartfelt desire to truly make a difference. Starting with a Friday Kollel in Jerusalem, and then tehillim groups for children in Har Nof, Rabbi Dahan then moved north to Tsfat where he worked to develop kollels as well as food drives for needy families, and most recently built the Tsfat Mikveh Education Center which primarily teaches the mitzvah of family purity to unaffiliated jewish women and young women.
